A
native of New York City, Roger
Steigmeier first began writing at age 11. Light traveling Dark
Traveling Light, a collection of poems, was published in 1984
by a small press in New York City. Other publishing credits include
Dog River Review, POET, College Poetry Review
and Pegasus, a hard cover anthology. Mr. Steigmeier has a
BA degree from Empire State College - SUNY and an MA degree from
New York University. He and his wife moved to Colorado in 1996,
and they reside in Loveland. Currently teaching at Aims Community
College at Loveland, Mr. Steigmeier is active in local poetry groups
in the Loveland area. He is a member of
Poets and Writers, Inc., a New York-based support group for
writers, and is listed in MARQUIS' WHO'S WHO IN AMERICA. |
